About Carter A
Carter A Brown earned his law degree from Ohio Northern University’s Pettit College of Law after completing undergraduate studies at Muskingum College. At Muskingum he studied public accounting, marketing and business management, a combination that informed both his legal training and early professional choices.
His résumé shows steady movement through legal and related roles. In 2014 he worked for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. He returned to Ohio Northern Pettit College of Law in 2016 in a role tied to the law school. The following year he served at the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office. In 2019 he spent time at the Hardin County Common Pleas Court and joined Stubbins, Watson, Bryan & Witucky Co., L.P.A. that same year.
Those positions exposed him to different sides of the legal system. Time at an insurance company offered experience with corporate and regulatory processes. Work at the prosecutor’s office and at a common pleas court involved courtroom procedures and case management. Time connected to his law school kept him close to academic and training environments. Taken together, the roles trace a path from corporate settings to public-sector litigation and private practice.
Brown is admitted to practice in Ohio and holds current memberships in the Ohio State Bar and the Muskingum County Bar Association. His standing in local bar circles reflects the geographic focus of his career. Colleagues and court records list him under matters handled in Ohio courts since he entered private practice in 2019.
He joined Stubbins, Watson, Bryan & Witucky Co., L.P.A. as an attorney in 2019 and remains at that firm. His work draws on earlier experience in insurance, prosecutorial offices and court settings. He practices in Ohio and handles matters that arise in the state’s courts.
