About Christina
Christina Wieg followed an unconventional route to the law. She began her academic life in the natural sciences, earning a B.A. in Zoology from Miami University of Ohio in 2000 and an M.S. in Environmental Studies from Ohio University in 2009. A decade later she completed her legal training at Capital University Law School, receiving her J.D. in 2019.
Her graduate work in environmental studies provided a scientific foundation before she entered the legal profession. That background informs how she approaches technical material and regulatory frameworks. She brought those analytical skills into law school, where she completed the coursework and clinical experiences that prepared her for practice.
After gaining admission to the bar in 2019, she joined Frost Brown Todd LLP. She advanced to the role of senior associate. In that capacity she handles matters on behalf of clients in Ohio. Her role requires translating complex technical issues into legal strategy and practical advice for clients.
Wieg maintains memberships in several professional organizations. She is a member of the State Bar of Ohio (2019–present) and the Ohio State Bar Association. She also belongs to the Columbus Bar Association, Women Lawyers of Franklin County, and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Bar Association. Those memberships reflect an engagement with both the local bar and groups concerned with access and professional development.
Colleagues describe her as methodical in her preparation and clear in her explanations. She combines legal training with an understanding of scientific method. That makes her well suited to matters where law and science intersect. She works primarily in Ohio and handles issues that require attention to regulatory detail and technical evidence.
Her practice at Frost Brown Todd LLP centers on providing legal services to clients in Ohio. She applies her legal education and earlier scientific training to cases and transactions that involve regulatory, environmental, or technical questions.
