About Carrie
Carrie Cravatta earned her law degree from The John Marshall Law School in 2004 after completing a bachelor’s degree in business management at North Central College in 2000. She trained in Chicago-area legal settings and left law school with a mixture of classroom study and practical clinic work that prepared her for litigation and family court practice.
Her early years in practice began in 2005 at Kaufhold & Associates, PC. That role gave her hands-on courtroom and client work within an Illinois practice. By 2009 she had taken positions in Arizona, first as a staff lawyer at Ryley Carlock & Applewhite and as a contract lawyer with Perkins Coie Brown & Bain. Those roles marked a transition from a Midwestern start to a practice centered in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
She moved into associate positions over the following decade. In 2010 she joined R.J. Peters & Associates, PC as an associate attorney. She later served as an associate at Donaldson Stewart, PC in 2013 and at Stewart Law Group in 2015. Across these roles she handled courtroom appearances, client counseling, pleadings and negotiating settlements. Her resume shows steady progression through firms that handle civil and family matters.
Cravatta holds memberships in both the Illinois and Arizona bars, and she has been active in local bar groups in Arizona since 2009. She belongs to the Maricopa County Bar Association and has been part of the State Bar of Arizona’s Family Law and Juvenile Law sections since 2013. She also has an inactive membership in the Illinois State Bar Association dating to 2004, and she was a member of the American Bar Association from 2004 to 2010.
Her practice is concentrated in family and juvenile matters. She has worked across offices in the Phoenix area, including Chandler, Phoenix, Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, Peoria, Glendale and Scottsdale, and she handles custody, dependency and family court proceedings. She currently practices family and juvenile law in Arizona.
