About Carrie A.
Carrie A. Ward built a career that moves between corporate rooms and regulatory halls. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Her work spans private practice, in-house counsel roles, and running her own firms.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts from American University in 1999 and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law–Camden in 2005. Those academic years set the stage for a practice that combines business law and communications issues. The classroom work was followed by early positions that exposed her to transactional and regulatory matters.
Ward began her legal career as an associate at Weir & Partners LLP in 2004. In 2007 she moved in-house as senior counsel at Entercom Communications Corp., where she handled legal matters for a media company. After a decade of varied practice, she launched Ward Law Group LLC as owner in 2018. A year later she formed Calderone Bullock Ward LLC, and in 2020 she joined Earp Cohn P.C., where she remains on staff.
Her record shows steady engagement with the intersection of business and communications law. Membership in the Federal Communications Bar Association dates to 2014. That affiliation complements experience at a broadcasting company and private firms that dealt with corporate governance, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
