About Carol
Carol Ferreyra built her legal foundation at Golden Gate University School of Law. She began her studies in 1999 and earned her Juris Doctor in 2002. The law school years shaped her interest in family law and provided the classroom and clinic experience that set the stage for her career.
After law school, Ferreyra established herself in California’s family law community. She is licensed to practice in California and has concentrated her work on divorce, custody, and related domestic matters. Over time she pursued formal recognition of that work and became a California Family Law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
Her practice has operated out of the Bay Area. She maintains a presence in both Santa Clara and Pleasanton. That arrangement allows her to handle cases arising across counties while remaining accessible to clients in suburban and urban settings. She balances courtroom work with negotiation and case management, adapting strategy to the needs of each family.
Colleagues describe her approach as pragmatic. She aims to clarify options for clients and identify practical next steps in complex situations. Ferreyra works on financial settlement issues, parenting plans, custody modifications, and support disputes. She represents clients in contested hearings and in settlements when parties can reach agreement outside of trial.
Beyond individual cases, Ferreyra has kept up with developments in family law. Her specialist certification required demonstration of experience and additional study. That credential signals an emphasis on procedural knowledge and substantive law in family court practice. She pairs that formal recognition with hands-on experience managing case files, preparing pleadings, and arguing motions.
Her offices in Santa Clara and Pleasanton serve as operational bases rather than a single downtown headquarters. That setup reflects an effort to meet clients where they live and work. She schedules consultations and hearings in both locations and coordinates with local courts and other professionals as needed.
In day-to-day practice Ferreyra handles the full arc of family law matters, from initial consultation through resolution. She focuses on legal strategy, client counseling, and representation in family court and related proceedings, maintaining an active practice in California family law.
