About Carlos
Carlos Gonzalez took a direct path into the law. He earned his Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law in 2010 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at Florida International University where he studied political science and philosophy and minored in computer science. His academic record reflects an interest in both public affairs and technical subjects.
After law school, Gonzalez entered practice in Florida. He joined Rubenstein Law, where he has worked since. His career has unfolded against the backdrop of Florida’s legal landscape, and he has built relationships inside the local bar community. He maintains memberships in the Florida State Bar, the Cuban American Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Those affiliations keep him connected to colleagues and to developments in state and national law.
Gonzalez’s work is shaped in part by his academic background. A degree in political science and philosophy sits alongside a computer science minor. That combination lends itself to legal issues that touch government, regulation and technology. He applies that training to the matters he handles at Rubenstein Law, where practical problem solving and careful legal analysis meet day-to-day client needs.
Colleagues describe Gonzalez as methodical in his approach. He favors clear explanations and steady case preparation. Clients can expect detailed attention to filings, deadlines and courtroom procedure when those elements are required. He also draws on his bar association involvement to stay current on changes in statutes and court rules.
Outside the office, Gonzalez’s membership in the Cuban American Bar Association links him to a community of lawyers with shared cultural ties. His participation in the Florida State Bar and the American Bar Association means he follows continuing legal education and broader policy conversations that affect practice around the state.
Today Gonzalez practices law in Florida through Rubenstein Law. He is an active member of the Florida State Bar and keeps professional ties at the state and national levels. His current practice focuses on serving clients in Florida through the Rubenstein Law firm.
