About Carlo

Carlo Miranda built his academic foundation in the Bay Area. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley and went on to receive a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. Those years shaped his approach to legal analysis and client communication.

He entered private practice after law school and has practiced at Flicker, Kerin, Kruger & Bissada LLP. At the firm he has worked on a variety of matters that required courtroom preparation, careful document drafting, and negotiated settlements. His path through the firm has involved both individual client representation and collaboration on larger, multi-attorney matters.

Miranda's work involves a mix of litigation and transactional tasks. He prepares pleadings, conducts factual and legal research, drafts contracts and motions, and engages opposing counsel in settlement talks. He also spends time counseling clients on practical risks and the process options available to them. Colleagues describe his approach as methodical; he breaks complex problems into manageable steps and explains options in straightforward terms.

Outside the immediate case work, Miranda focuses on practical problem-solving. He pays close attention to factual detail and to the procedural rules that shape outcomes in state and federal courts. That attention to process informs how he plans discovery, structures negotiations and prepares witnesses. He aims to give clients clear options so they can make informed choices about how to proceed.

In recent years he has balanced court appearances with client meetings and transactional closings. He continues to write and edit briefs and agreements, often tailoring language to the specific business realities his clients face. He also mentors junior attorneys at the firm on courtroom preparation and drafting technique. He currently practices at Flicker, Kerin, Kruger & Bissada LLP, where his practice focuses on client counseling, dispute resolution and transactional work.
