About Cameron
Cameron Methner combined a background in reporting and legal studies before he went to law school. He earned a B.A. in Journalism and Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2002. He then completed his J.D. at the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2006.
Those academic years left him comfortable with both careful analysis and clear writing. The journalism training sharpened how he frames questions and explains complex points. The legal coursework supplied the doctrinal foundation he would use in practice.
After law school he entered private practice in Maryland. In 2010 he joined Andrews, Bongar, Gormley & Clagett as an associate. The listing of that position reflects a period spent working inside a firm environment where he took on the typical responsibilities of an associate attorney — researching, drafting, and advising under senior supervision. He worked on matters for clients in the region and learned how legal work is coordinated within a small-firm setting.
