About Cameron L.
Cameron L. Hogan took a direct route into the law. He earned his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2008 and moved quickly into courtroom and firm work that has defined his career since.
Early on Hogan cut his teeth on litigation and firm management tasks. Over time those early responsibilities broadened into leadership roles and multi-jurisdictional practice. He is admitted in Alabama and Tennessee and is also admitted to practice before the Federal Circuit. That range of admissions has shaped the kinds of matters he accepts and the network of professional relationships he maintains across state lines.
Hogan is the managing partner at Lloyd & Hogan, PC. In that role he oversees case strategy and day-to-day firm operations while continuing to appear in court. The managing partner title reflects both his responsibilities for clients and his role in leading the firm’s lawyers and staff.
His peers recognize his trial work. Hogan holds a Lead Counsel rating, a designation that signals a level of peer acknowledgment in trial advocacy. He has also taken on leadership positions in bar and trial organizations, including a past chairmanship of the Solo Small Firm Section of the Birmingham Bar Association. Those roles have put him in contact with lawyers across practice sizes and specialties.
Hogan’s professional memberships are broad and active. He belongs to the Alabama Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association and the Birmingham Bar Association. He is a member of national trial groups, including the American Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice’s Tennessee and Alabama counterparts. He also participates in the Alabama Association for Justice and has been involved in emerging leaders programs. He is listed among the founding members of Alabama Lawyers, an association for practitioners in the state.
Colleagues describe him as a lawyer who balances courtroom work with running a practice. He remains engaged in continuing education and association activities that connect him to developments in state and federal practice. Hogan’s combination of trial experience and firm leadership guides how he staffs matters and advises clients.
He maintains an active practice at Lloyd & Hogan, PC, representing clients in matters across Alabama, Tennessee and the Federal Circuit and handling both litigation and firm management duties as managing partner.
