Bryan H. Booth is a prominent shareholder at Fetzer Booth PC, also known as Mountain West Law®, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since 1996, he has been licensed to practice law in Utah, establishing a robust legal career over the past two decades. The firm, situated at 50 West Broadway, Suite 1200, specializes in various areas including construction law, real estate law, business law, franchise law, wills, trusts, estate planning, administrative law, and government lobbying. This diverse expertise allows Mr. Booth to serve many clientele effectively. In 1996, Mr. Booth earned his Juris Doctor from the prestigious Duke University School of Law.
Prior to his legal education, he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, focusing on International Finance, from Brigham Young University in 1993. His academic background laid a solid foundation for his legal practice, particularly in areas that intersect with business and finance. While at Duke, he also contributed to the Duke Journal of Comparative and International Law as a Symposium Editor, further honing his analytical and writing skills. Mr. Booth's practice areas are extensive and include alternative dispute resolution, creditor’s rights, commercial litigation, real estate law, real estate title, surety and fidelity, and collections. He represents title insurance companies and property owners in real estate title matters, addressing issues such as conveyance challenges, boundary disputes, lien priority determinations, and deed reformation. His ability to navigate complex legal fields has made him a trusted advisor in real estate transactions and disputes. In the construction law arena, Mr.
Booth represents construction companies, sureties, and property owners in litigation related to mechanic’s liens, bond claims, payment claims, and construction defects. His contributions to construction law have been recognized by his peers; he served as the chairman of the Construction Law Section of the Utah State Bar. Additionally, he has been honored as "Utah’s Legal Elite" in Construction Law for four consecutive years, showcasing his reputation within the legal community. From 2013 to 2020, he was also selected for the Mountain States Super Lawyers list, further solidifying his status as a leading attorney in his field. Membership in professional organizations is an important aspect of Mr. Booth's career. He is an active member of the Utah State Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Associated General Contractors of Utah. Additionally, he is involved with the Utah Apartment Association, reflecting his commitment to various sectors within the legal field.
