About Bruce Martin
Bruce Martin Broyles earned his law degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus in 1986. The diploma marked the start of a long career in the law. He has been involved in legal practice for more than three decades.
After graduating, Broyles gained the authorizations that allow him to represent clients in both state and federal forums. He is licensed to practice in Ohio and is admitted to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Those credentials give him the ability to handle matters that move beyond trial courts and into appellate review.
Broyles maintains active memberships in professional associations. He has kept those ties current over the years, attending meetings and participating in the professional life of the bar. Colleagues describe him as steady and pragmatic in the courtroom, preferring careful legal analysis over theatrical gestures.
Throughout his career, Broyles has worked on cases that required detailed briefing and attention to procedural posture. He is comfortable drafting appellate briefs and arguing legal points in court. He approaches each matter by first identifying the key legal issues, then laying out the record and authorities that support his client’s position.
His office is located at 2670 North Columbus Street. From there he manages filings and court appearances in Ohio and the Sixth Circuit. He handles both the written work that appellate practice demands and the oral advocacy that can decide a case.
Clients and other lawyers who have engaged him note a straightforward style. He favors clarity in briefing. He prepares thoroughly for hearings and takes care to explain options to clients in plain terms rather than legal jargon. That approach shapes how he handles deadlines, evidence, and the strategic choices that come up during litigation.
Outside of court, Broyles has maintained a steady presence in the legal community. He continues to attend professional gatherings and to stay current on developments in appellate jurisprudence. He has adapted his practice as rules and procedures have changed, while keeping the basics of legal advocacy at the center of his work.
He currently practices from his office at 2670 North Columbus Street and handles matters in Ohio courts and appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
