About Brittany
Brittany Britton earned her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law. She built her legal foundation there, studying subjects commonly central to trusts, estates and elder law. The law school’s curriculum and clinics gave her a grounding in practical skills and courtroom procedure.
After law school she established herself in California. She is licensed to practice in the state and has maintained an active presence in the local legal community. Since 2015 she has been a member of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. The same year she joined the San Fernando Valley Estate Planning Council, an organization that brings together attorneys, financial planners and other professionals who handle estate planning and related matters.
Her involvement in those organizations has been a steady part of her professional life. Membership in the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles has kept her connected to issues affecting women in the profession. Participation in the San Fernando Valley Estate Planning Council has offered regular exposure to technical developments in estate planning, trust administration and probate practice. She has used those settings to exchange ideas and stay current on state law developments.
Colleagues describe her approach as practical and direct. She aims to translate complex rules into plain terms clients can understand. In client meetings she tends to focus on clear options and likely outcomes rather than legal theory. That style has shaped how she handles estate documents, trust design and end-of-life planning conversations.
In the office she manages common estate planning tasks: drafting wills, creating revocable and irrevocable trusts, advising on powers of attorney and preparing advance healthcare directives. She also assists in probate and trust administration when estates move into the court process. Her work includes counseling fiduciaries on duties and paperwork required to settle an estate.
Brittany stays engaged with continuing education and local bar activities. She attends workshops and council meetings that cover tax implications, elder care issues and updates to California probate statutes. Those sessions inform how she advises clients faced with changing family and financial circumstances.
She currently practices in California, handling estate planning, trust administration and probate matters for individuals and families.
