About Brian W
Brian W Freeman earned a Bachelor of Science from Biola University in 2002 and went on to receive his J.D. from Whittier Law School in 2007. He built his legal foundation in Southern California, combining classroom training with early practical experience in local bar associations and trial groups. The timeline of his education set him up for practice in the state where he continues to work.
Early in his career Freeman joined a string of professional organizations that reflect his interests in consumer and trial work. He was a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers from 2009 to 2011 and belonged to the Consumer Lawyers Association of Los Angeles from 2009 to 2014. He also held a leadership role as secretary/treasurer of the Riverside County Barristers Association between 2009 and 2011, a post that involved organizing local meetings and supporting young lawyers in the county.
Freeman’s association record includes memberships in the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association and the Riverside County Bar Association beginning in 2008, and a brief period with the American Bar Association in 2008–2009. Since 2014 he has been affiliated with the California Applicants Lawyers Association, maintaining that connection through the present. Those memberships suggest regular engagement with plaintiff-side practice areas and continuing legal education.
Most of Freeman’s practice life has been tied to a firm that specializes in workers’ compensation matters. He has worked at Workers Compensation Lawyer, Inc., where he has handled cases for injured workers and advised clients on administrative hearings, benefit calculations, and settlement questions. His day-to-day work requires courtroom appearances, claim preparation, and negotiations with insurance representatives and employer attorneys.
Colleagues and clients have encountered Freeman in courtrooms and administrative settings across California. He is familiar with local procedures and state regulations that govern workplace injury claims. He has moved between association work and casework, balancing organization involvement with client responsibilities.
In practice he focuses on workers’ compensation matters, drawing on his years at Workers Compensation Lawyer, Inc. and his long-standing participation in plaintiff-oriented legal groups. He practices in California and continues to handle workers’ compensation cases at his current firm.
