About Brian R.
Brian R. Murphy built his legal foundation at two South Carolina schools. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business at Winthrop University and then went on to the University of South Carolina School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2005. Those years laid the groundwork for a practice rooted in the state where he lives and works.
Murphy moved into private practice after completing law school. In 2010 he opened his own firm, Law Offices of Brian Robert Murphy, LLC. He has maintained that firm through the past decade and a half, overseeing operations across multiple offices in South Carolina. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, with membership recorded from 2008 to the present, and he is licensed to practice in South Carolina.
The arc of Murphy’s career is straightforward. He went from law student to firm founder in a few years. Running a small, multi-office practice requires attention to both the legal work and the business side of law. Murphy has handled that combination of responsibilities while keeping the firm anchored in three communities: Rock Hill, Charleston and Greenville.

He continues to lead the Law Offices of Brian Robert Murphy, LLC, managing offices in Rock Hill, Charleston and Greenville. He practices law in South Carolina and oversees the firm’s operations across its locations. His current practice focuses on serving clients through those South Carolina offices.
