About Brian
Brian Fetzko built his legal foundation in the classroom and the courtroom. He earned a B.B.A. in finance from Pace University in 2005 and followed that with a J.D. from Touro College in 2008. Those degrees set the stage for a practice that spans two state jurisdictions.
He began his post-law-school career in private practice. In 2009 he worked at Lazaroff & Fetzko, LLP, where he developed practical skills in client counseling and case handling. By 2014 he was practicing at Fetzko Law Offices, P.C., where he has continued his work into the present. He has been a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, and the Hudson Valley Bankruptcy Bar Association since 2010.
Fetzko is admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey. His membership in the Hudson Valley Bankruptcy Bar Association signals regular involvement in bankruptcy matters, and his background in finance gives him familiarity with business and consumer financial issues. Colleagues describe him as steady and practical in court and at the negotiating table.
Over the years he has handled cases that require attention to both statutory detail and the practical realities facing clients. He has represented individuals and businesses in proceedings that involve creditor-debtor disputes, restructuring questions, and the procedural demands of bankruptcy courts. His approach tends to be direct. He aims to clarify options for clients and to pursue outcomes that reflect their immediate needs and longer-term financial goals.
Beyond casework, Fetzko’s bar association memberships have kept him connected to regional legal developments. Participation in local and state bar groups has provided opportunities to stay current on court rules, procedural changes, and the shifting landscape of insolvency law in the Hudson Valley and beyond. He maintains ties with other practitioners through those associations.
Today he practices from Fetzko Law Offices, P.C. He represents clients in matters across New York and New Jersey, focusing on bankruptcy and related creditor-debtor issues in both state and federal forums.
