About Brian Daniel
Brian D. Sleeth is an attorney based in Columbia, Missouri, with a focus on personal injury law. A graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia, Brian earned his Juris Doctor in 2001, following a Master of Education in 1996.
His legal journey began with a summer internship at the Missouri Attorney General’s Office Litigation Division in 2000. Prior to that, he completed a clerkship with the Honorable Judge Conley in 1999. These formative experiences not only developed his legal skills but also laid the groundwork for his multifaceted practice. In 2001, Brian was admitted to the Missouri Bar and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. His active participation in the legal community is reflected in his membership with the Boone County Bar Association and the Missouri Bar's Family Law Committee.
Brian’s dedication to the legal profession extends beyond his practice; he serves on the Board of Directors for the SHARE program in Columbia, showcasing his commitment to community service and support for local initiatives. From 2002 to 2010, Brian served as a contract Guardian ad Litem for both Boone and Callaway Counties, advocating for the best interests of children in legal proceedings. His expertise in mediation is also notable—since 2006, he has been a certified mediator for civil cases in the 13th Judicial Circuit. Additionally, he owns Middleground Mediation L.L.C., where he provides alternative dispute resolution services, further demonstrating his commitment to resolving conflicts amicably. In addition to his legal practice, Brian has been an adjunct professor of Business Law at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, since 2004.
