About Brian Andrew

Brian Andrew Tully built a legal career that moves between courtroom work, practice management and public education. He earned his J.D. from Touro Law Center in 1997 and has returned several times to speak to accepted students and elder law classes. Before law school he completed a B.S. in Criminal Justice at St. John’s University in 1993, where he earned a spot on the Moot Court team after several elimination rounds. He began his higher-education path at Nassau Community College, earning an A.S. in Criminal Justice in 1992.

Tully entered the legal field early, working as a legal assistant and then as a young lawyer at Cacciatore & Delessio beginning in 1993. After completing law school he joined Fine Hummel, P.C. in 1998. That experience led him to open his own practice in 2001, establishing the Law Offices of Brian Andrew Tully, PLLC. He has moved between solo practice and partnerships since then, including a stint at Tully & Winkelman, P.C. in 2011 and the launch of the Tully Law Group, P.C. in 2016.

Entrepreneurship runs alongside his law practice. In 2004 he founded ElderCare Resource Center, Inc., a venture aimed at supporting older adults and their families. He later founded MyElderScore, Inc. in 2013 and served as its CEO. Those projects reflect sustained interest in systems and tools that help families manage elder care issues and plan for long-term needs.

Professionally he is a Certified Elder Law Attorney through the National Elder Law Foundation. His association memberships include the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Academy of Special Needs Planners and WealthCounsel, LLC. He has been active in the New York State Bar Association since 1998 and maintains ties to the New York chapter of NAELA. These affiliations align with a practice that spans elder law and planning for clients with special needs.

Colleagues describe Tully as methodical in his approach to client matters and willing to speak publicly about topics that affect older adults and special needs families. He has combined private practice with efforts to create resources for caregivers and professionals. That mix of practice and product development has shaped the way he advises clients on planning and on practical steps families can take to prepare for changing needs.

Tully currently practices through the Tully Law Group, P.C., and continues to operate business projects that intersect with elder care and planning. His current practice concentrates on elder law, special needs planning, and related planning matters.
