About Brent

Brent Goodfellow practices personal injury law at Goodfellow Law, located in McMinnville, Oregon. He joined the Oregon State Bar in 2003, bringing nearly two decades of legal experience to his clients. The firm specializes in personal injury cases, but also offers services in family law, divorce, business law, and real estate law. This diverse focus allows Brent to cater to many legal needs, serving clients throughout Yamhill County and beyond. His educational background laid a solid foundation for his legal career.

Brent earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Willamette University College of Law in 2003, shortly after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brigham Young University in 2000. Each case typically progresses from initial consultations to negotiations, and if necessary, litigation in court.

His experience as a judge since 2008 offers him unique insights into courtroom procedures and the judicial process. Before establishing Goodfellow Law, he served as a Pro Tem Judge for the Oregon Circuit Court, presiding over a variety of cases that enhanced his understanding of legal standards and judicial reasoning. In addition to his practice, Brent has held leadership roles within the legal community. He served as President of the Yamhill County Bar Association, where he contributed to the local legal field and advocated for fellow attorneys. His active membership in the Oregon State Bar Family Law Section allows him to collaborate with other attorneys on issues affecting families in Oregon.

This engagement supports his the legal profession and his desire to improve the lives of those he serves. Brent is also dedicated to community outreach — He frequently provides legal education seminars aimed at helping residents understand their rights. By empowering individuals with knowledge, he ensures they are informed about their legal options.
