About Brendan Noel
Brendan Noel Guilford builds his practice around clear explanations and practical steps. He writes plainly to clients and argues plainly in court. That direct style guides each part of his work from intake through resolution.
Guilford earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University in 2006. The degree led to admission in multiple jurisdictions. He is licensed to practice in Florida and Michigan and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
His early legal roles included serving as of counsel at the Law Office of Kerry Brown beginning in 2010. He joined Bill Beck Law, P.A. as an associate in 2012. Those positions exposed him to courtroom practice and client counseling. They also provided regular experience in negotiation and procedural work common to family law matters.
In 2015 he opened Guilford Law, PLLC. He has run the firm since then. The practice handles family law matters, including cases that proceed through mediation and those that require formal litigation. Guilford’s background in mediation informs how he evaluates cases and prepares clients for the process. From staff scheduling to courtroom appearance, he handles the practical details that shape outcomes.
Guilford has training as a family law mediator, having completed Florida Supreme Court certification for Family Law Mediation between 2010 and 2015. He volunteers for local legal assistance programs and frequently works on clinic panels that help people complete divorce forms and understand family law procedures. He is an associate member of the Canakaris American Inn of Court and maintains membership in the St. Petersburg Bar Association. He also serves on a committee tied to the St. Pete Bar Association’s Oktoberfest fundraiser.
Clients and colleagues describe him as straightforward in his advice and thorough in preparation. He balances courtroom readiness with efforts to resolve disputes outside the judge’s chambers when the circumstances warrant it. He continues to teach and present at local clinics and volunteer events, helping nonlawyers navigate often confusing forms and deadlines.
Guilford practices from Guilford Law, PLLC, where he handles family law cases, mediations and related legal matters in Florida and Michigan and in federal matters before the Middle District of Florida. His current practice focuses on family law and mediation.
