About Brandon C.
Brandon C. Foy earned his law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School, receiving his J.D. in 2015 after completing undergraduate studies at the University of Alaska Anchorage, where he graduated with a B.B.A. in finance in 2008. His academic path combined business training and legal study, laying the groundwork for a practice that spans public and private work.
His professional life began alongside military service. He joined the Air National Guard in 2003 and served as a technical sergeant in the United States Air Force. That experience runs through his later legal roles, providing a steadying practical perspective on discipline and procedure.
Foy entered public prosecution work soon after law school. In 2015 he took a position as a deputy district lawyer in the Umatilla County District Lawyer's Office. The role placed him in court frequently and exposed him to the day-to-day realities of criminal cases at the county level. He moved to private practice the following year as an associate at Bendixsen Law, P.C. There he expanded his courtroom and case-management experience while taking on a broader mix of matters.
By 2017 he opened his own practice and serves as a shareholder at the Law Office of Brandon Foy, P.C. The move into solo and small-firm practice brought client counseling, docket control and trial preparation into sharper focus. In 2020 he returned to a public role when the City of Hermiston appointed him as city prosecutor. That municipal position requires him to handle ordinance violations and local prosecutions, often with a fast turnaround from charge to court.
Foy maintains ties to professional organizations in Oregon. He has been a member of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association since 2017 and is active in the 6th Judicial District Bar Association. Those memberships keep him engaged with colleagues across the state and informed about changes in criminal law and procedure.
His caseload blends criminal defense and municipal prosecution work. He handles matters that range from local ordinance cases to more serious criminal charges. Courtroom time and client contact remain steady parts of his practice. He practices law through the Law Office of Brandon Foy, P.C., where his work centers on criminal defense and municipal prosecution matters.
