About Bradley L.
Bradley L. Henry studied locally and regionally before entering the courtroom. He earned his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2006. He also attended Florida Coastal School of Law and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
His legal career began soon after law school when he joined The Law Office of A. Philip Lomonaco as an associate in 2006. He moved into private firm leadership in 2011 when he became a shareholder at Breeding Henry Baysan PC. He later took a partner role at Michelson & Robinson, LLP, where he continues to practice.
Henry is admitted to practice in Tennessee, Texas and New York. He also holds admission to several federal appellate courts, including the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 11th Circuits. That federal experience underpins much of his courtroom work.
He is a Criminal Trial Specialist certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. That credential signals specialized trial training and an emphasis on jury and bench trial practice. He has served on the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the Southern District of New York. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar and of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He also holds membership in the Association of Federal Defense Lawyers and has served as a speaker for that organization.
Throughout his career he has handled cases at both the trial and appellate levels. His practice has involved federal indictments, state criminal matters and the briefing and argument of appeals in circuit courts. He has experience representing clients in complex procedural contexts and in contested evidentiary proceedings.
Colleagues describe Henry as deliberate in preparation and direct in the courtroom. He tends to combine thorough case review with a willingness to press constitutional and procedural claims when they arise. He balances trial practice with appellate filings, moving between courtroom advocacy and written argument.
He currently focuses his practice on federal and state criminal defense and on trial and appellate work in those areas.
