About Bradley

Bradley Barshis earned his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2008 after completing an undergraduate degree at Webster University in 2003. Those formative years set a clear path toward courtroom practice and legal procedure. He arrived at law school with a practical eye and left prepared for litigation and client work.

He entered private practice soon after. In 2011 he worked as a lawyer at Newton & Hall, PLLC, where he handled client representation and courtroom responsibilities. That experience gave him regular exposure to state-level criminal matters and procedural work in trial settings. He is admitted to practice in Washington and before the Ninth Circuit, which has shaped the venues where he takes cases and appears on behalf of clients.

Barshis has pursued additional credentials that reflect a narrower area of practice. He holds certification as a DUI Lawyer from the National College for DUI Defense. That credential signals concentrated training and continued study in driving-under-the-influence cases, including scientific evidence and trial techniques specific to DUI litigation. Colleagues and opposing counsel have encountered him in matters that require close attention to breath, blood and plausibility issues in evidence.

His day-to-day work balances court appearances, client counseling and case preparation. He has prepared motions, handled evidentiary hearings and argued in trial on matters where impairment and public-safety concerns are central. He approaches case development through investigation and attention to procedure. He pays attention to discovery, expert testimony and the technical aspects of sobriety testing.

Outside the courtroom, Barshis’s background includes outreach to clients who are navigating license suspensions and administrative hearings. That side of practice often runs parallel to criminal proceedings in DUI cases and can have independent consequences for clients. He has experience coordinating administrative and criminal strategies so both tracks advance in a coherent way.

Over the years he has developed a practice shaped by litigation and procedural work at both the trial and appellate levels. His training at Gonzaga and certification through the National College for DUI Defense remain relevant to the kind of matters he accepts. He maintains a practice focused on DUI defense.
