About Brad
Brad Marsicek has built a legal career that spans litigation, transactional work and mediation. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law after completing a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 1999. His education placed him squarely in the Nebraska legal community early on and helped shape a practice that crosses lines between contested matters and title work.
Marsicek's early professional years included roles in both private practice and corporate settings. In 2008 he worked as a contract lawyer at Shook Hardy Bacon and as claims counsel for Fidelity National Title Group. He launched Marsicek Law LLC in 2013 and moved to an associate role at Cordell and Cordell in 2015. In 2022 he joined Goosmann Law Office as a senior associate lawyer. Those moves reflect steady shifts between firm practice and in-house responsibilities.
He holds certification as a Nebraska Family Law Mediator from the Nebraska Mediation Association. That credential sits alongside practical experience in title insurance claims and civil defense matters. At Cordell and Cordell he handled family law matters. His time at Fidelity National gave him exposure to real estate and title disputes. The combination gives him a toolbox that includes negotiation, mediation and courtroom work when necessary.
Marsicek participates in local and regional bar groups. He is a current member of the Omaha Bar Association, the Nebraska Bar Association and the Iowa Bar Association. Those memberships provide a regular connection to peers and to continuing legal education across two state jurisdictions.
Now based at Goosmann Law Office, Marsicek works on a mix of family law and civil matters while maintaining mediation activity. He brings experience from his years in-house, the period he operated his own firm, and his time at established practices. He currently practices family law and serves as a mediator, and also handles related civil and real estate matters.
