Boone Callaway is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1986 and holds bar number 126664. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Callaway is a partner at Callaway & Wolf, a personal injury and medical malpractice law firm with offices in San Francisco and Oakland, California. He has been practicing law for over 30 years, serving clients throughout the Bay Area.
Mr. Callaway earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri School of Law in 1986. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin, where he majored in Philosophy. During his time at the University of Missouri, he developed a strong foundation in legal principles, which has been instrumental in his successful legal career.
Mr. Callaway concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury and medical malpractice law. He represents individuals who have sustained injuries due to accidents, medical errors, and other incidents resulting in harm. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts. He has handled numerous cases involving complex medical issues, demonstrating his expertise in this specialized area of law.
Throughout his career, Mr. Callaway has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Francisco, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding Callaway & Wolf in 1995, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in San Francisco for several years, gaining experience in real estate and business dispute trials.
Mr. Callaway is an active member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, having served as its President in 2021. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an exclusive organization of trial lawyers nationwide. Additionally, he holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, a designation awarded to fewer than 10% of attorneys, and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer, a distinction given to less than 5% of eligible attorneys. Mr. Callaway is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of the Bay Area effectively.
