About Beth
Beth Tibbott earned her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2002 after completing a B.S. in Behavioral Science at Mount Aloysius College in 2000. She came through a traditional law school route, balancing classroom work with practical training in evidence and criminal procedure. Those early years set the stage for a career centered on courtroom practice and contested hearings.
She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Tibbott holds memberships in the Pennsylvania State Bar and the Allegheny County Bar Association, where she has been listed since 2007. She joined the National College for DUI Defense in 2010 and was a founding member of the Pennsylvania Association for Drunk Driving Defense Lawyers in 2011, a role she continues to hold.
Her professional training includes a Standardized Field Sobriety Test Practitioner credential through IMPAIRED DRIVING SPECIALISTS. That certification informs how she approaches cases involving breath tests, blood tests and roadside evaluations. She regularly reviews the methodology and procedures used by law enforcement when those elements are at issue in a case.
Tibbott’s practice concentrates on impaired-driving defense and related administrative matters. She represents clients facing criminal charges and handles license suspension hearings and appeals. Her work involves examining police reports, cross-examining officers, challenging toxicology methods when appropriate and preparing arguments before trial courts and administrative tribunals.
Colleagues and court filings show a steady involvement in state-level practice. Her memberships in national and state DUI defense organizations reflect an ongoing engagement with developments in forensic testing and procedural law. She has participated in programming and professional gatherings connected to impaired-driving defense, often exchanging technical and procedural insights with other practitioners.
She maintains offices in Allegheny County and Cambria County to serve clients across those regions. Her schedule has included courtroom appearances, administrative hearings and client consultations in both urban and rural settings. She balances casework across jurisdictions while keeping current on evolving standards in impaired-driving evidence.
Tibbott currently concentrates her practice on impaired-driving defense and related administrative proceedings.
