About Benjamin P.

Benjamin P. Nigro built his career in and around Florida courts. He arrived in legal practice after finishing law school and has worked in both private firm settings and an in-house capacity. His path reflects steady movement between litigation and transactional environments.

He earned a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law after completing a B.B.A. in International Business at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. The combination of a business undergraduate degree and a law degree shaped an early interest in matters that touch commerce and regulated activity.

Nigro began his legal work in the early 2010s. In 2012 he was with Stok Folk + Kon, P.A., a firm where he handled matters alongside more senior lawyers. In 2015 he spent time with Gator Investments, working inside a corporate setting and gaining experience on the client side. By 2017 he returned to firm practice at Stok Kon + Braverman, where he has continued his professional development.

Over the years Nigro has appeared in several federal and appellate venues. He is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida. He is also admitted to the 11th and 5th Circuit Courts of Appeals. Those admissions allow him to represent clients in a range of state and federal proceedings, including appellate work.

Outside the courtroom he maintains professional memberships that reflect the markets he serves. He is a current member of The Florida Bar and holds membership in the International Council of Shopping Centers. Those affiliations provide access to professional resources and industry contacts.

Colleagues describe Nigro as steady and business-minded in his approach to files. He has moved between firm practice and in-house roles, and that balance informs how he evaluates risk and opportunity for clients. He continues to work at Stok Kon + Braverman, where he manages matters that arise in Florida courts and on appeal.

He concentrates his practice on matters in Florida state and federal courts.
