About Benjamin Howard
Benjamin Howard Meredith completed his undergraduate studies at Flagler College, earning a B.A. in 2007. He continued his education at the University of Baltimore School of Law and received his J.D. in 2010. Those years framed the start of a legal career centered in Maryland.
After law school Meredith joined Iliff, Meredith, Wildberger & Brennan, P.C. as an associate. He works alongside other firm lawyers on matters that reach both state and federal benches. His role at the firm involves preparing filings, arguing motions, and managing case workflows from intake through resolution.
Meredith is admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals of Maryland, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. These admissions allow him to handle appeals and trial-level matters in Maryland and in the Fourth Circuit. He has maintained an active presence in the courtroom and in appellate filings on behalf of his clients.
Professional associations have been a steady part of Meredith’s career since the start. He has been a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Anne Arundel County Bar Association since 2010. The following year he joined the Maryland Association for Justice and the James C. Cawood, Jr. American Inn of Court. Those memberships indicate an ongoing engagement with peers, continuing education, and local legal discourse.
Colleagues describe Meredith as a lawyer who handles the practical demands of litigation work: drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and presenting arguments in court. He combines courtroom activity with the case preparation that supports trial and appeal work. He remains based at Iliff, Meredith, Wildberger & Brennan, P.C., where he continues to represent clients and manage litigation matters.
He represents clients in state and federal courts across Maryland and focuses his practice on litigation in those forums.
