About Ben
Ben Volpe brings a mix of government and private practice experience to his work in Colorado. He studied homeland security before turning to law. That background shows up in the practical, procedural approach he takes to legal problems.
He earned a Master of Professional Studies in Homeland Security from George Washington University—Virginia Campus in 2010. He later attended The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2019.
Volpe began his legal career inside the federal system. In 2018 he served as a contract law clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice. The role put him into federal contract matters and exposed him to government litigation processes. After law school he worked as an associate at Higgins Hopkins McLain & Roswell in 2019, where he handled matters assigned to him and assisted on a range of client files.
In 2020 he founded Volpe Law LLC. He built the firm around handling client work across state and federal channels and managing day-to-day legal operations. As a small-firm principal he is responsible for both casework and the business of running a practice. That combination has shaped how he approaches client intake, deadlines and courtroom preparation.
Outside the office he is active in professional circles. He holds membership in the Denver Bar Association and the Parker Chamber of Commerce. Those memberships keep him connected to the local legal and business communities. They also provide a regular stream of continuing legal education and networking that feeds back into his practice.
Colleagues describe him as practical and methodical. He tends to break complex matters into discrete steps. He prepares written work carefully and places a premium on meeting procedural requirements. In court or at the negotiating table he prioritizes clarity and timeliness.
Volpe lives and works in Colorado and continues to accept cases through Volpe Law LLC. He currently concentrates his practice on matters that arise under Colorado law and on federal matters that touch clients in the state.
