About Ben T.

Ben T. Frey earned his law degree from the University of Mississippi, receiving his J.D. in 2013. He completed his legal studies after several years at the university, where he built the academic foundation that led him into practice in two different states. His time in law school saw him move from classroom theory to practical legal skills, preparing him for licensed practice.

He is admitted to practice in both Alaska and Mississippi. He holds current membership in the Alaska Bar Association and participates in bar-related activities there. His dual jurisdiction status means he is licensed to appear before courts and advise clients under the laws of two distinct state systems.

Frey's early professional steps after law school involved entering practice in jurisdictions where he is admitted. Over the years he has worked with clients who need representation that accounts for the differences between Mississippi and Alaska law. That experience has required attention to procedural distinctions and different local practices. He balances the demands of state-specific representation while maintaining a practice that can respond to cross-jurisdictional issues.

Colleagues describe him as methodical and pragmatic when handling routine filings, client counseling and court appearances. He prepares for hearings and negotiations with an eye to clear legal reasoning and practical outcomes. He has built a case-management approach tailored to the schedules and rules of the courts where he appears.

Outside of casework he has remained engaged with peers in Alaska through the Bar Association. He attends meetings and contributes to discussions that affect the local legal community. That involvement keeps him connected to changes in court procedure and state law developments that affect clients.

Frey maintains a practice that serves clients in both Alaska and Mississippi, advising on matters governed by state law in those jurisdictions. His current practice focuses on serving clients in Alaska and Mississippi on matters governed by state law.
