About Ben
Ben Stechschulte attended Stetson University College of Law, where he completed his legal studies before entering practice. His law school years put him in contact with trial work and courtroom procedure, training that would later shape the kind of matters he handles. He kept close ties to his legal training while he established himself in practice.
Early in his career Stechschulte moved into criminal law. He worked in roles that exposed him to both prosecution and defense perspectives. Those experiences gave him a practical sense of how cases play out at each stage. Colleagues describe him as someone who pays attention to details that affect trial preparation and plea strategy.
Stechschulte is board certified in criminal law by the Florida Bar. That certification marks an acknowledged level of experience and knowledge in criminal practice under the bar’s certification standards. He has used that credential in casework that ranges from misdemeanor matters to serious felony charges. His training and certification have informed how he evaluates evidence, prepares witnesses, and presents arguments in court.
Over time Stechschulte built a practice that centers on courtroom representation and case assessment. He handles arraignments, pretrial motions, jury trials, and sentencing hearings. In court he relies on careful preparation and a clear presentation of facts. Outside the courtroom he spends time reviewing discovery, consulting with experts when necessary, and advising clients on legal options.
He practices at STECHSCHULTE NELL. The firm lists him among its attorneys and he handles criminal matters there. He keeps current on criminal procedure and case law developments that affect litigation strategy. He now practices criminal defense and related matters at STECHSCHULTE NELL.
