About Ben
Ben Cramer built his path to law from steady beginnings. He studied criminal justice and sociology at Lycoming College, earning a B.A. in 2004. He then moved on to Widener University School of Law, where he completed his J.D. in 2011. Those years framed his understanding of the criminal justice system and the human stories behind legal disputes.
Early in his legal training he spent time in a law clerk role at Handler, Henning & Rosenberg in 2009. That position offered a first-hand look at legal research, drafting and the day-to-day rhythm of litigation work. The clerkship took place while he was in law school and helped bridge classroom learning with courtroom realities.
After law school he began working as a lawyer at the Law Office of R. Scott Cramer. He has handled matters in Pennsylvania courts and built a practice grounded in that jurisdiction. His work has involved routine case preparation, client counseling and courtroom appearances where appropriate. He approaches each file with a lawyer’s focus on facts, procedure and practical resolution.
Cramer’s educational background—Lycoming followed by Widener—gave him both a liberal arts foundation and formal legal training. The combination of sociology, criminal justice and law shapes how he evaluates cases and communicates with clients. As of 2026 he continues to practice in Pennsylvania at the Law Office of R. Scott Cramer. He focuses his current practice on handling state-level matters for clients in Pennsylvania, providing representation and guidance in the jurisdictions where he is licensed.
