About Barry Michael
Barry Michael Rudman is a seasoned personal injury attorney based in Woodland Hills, California. He has been practicing law in the Los Angeles area for over 50 years, focusing on personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, and animal and dog law. He earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 1970, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in the study of evidence.
His undergraduate degree was obtained from the University of California at Los Angeles. Admitted to the California State Bar in 1971, Rudman has been a member in good standing since then. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S.
Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Throughout his career, Rudman has handled thousands of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, products liability, and dangerous conditions of public property. He has served as an arbitrator, mediator, and settlement officer for the Los Angeles Superior Court for 18 years and has been a Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Pro Tem, assisting parties in resolving their legal disputes through alternative dispute resolution.
In 2010, he co-founded The Rudman Law Firm, A.P.C., with his son Jeffrey, where he currently serves as a senior advising attorney. Rudman is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish.
