About Barry A.
Barry A. Feinstein has practiced law in Massachusetts for many years. He completed his undergraduate work at Northeastern University, earning a B.A. in 1973. He then pursued a law degree at New England Law | Boston and received his J.D. in 1977.
After law school Feinstein built a career rooted in courtroom work. He practices in Massachusetts and serves as principal of The Law Offices of Barry Feinstein & Affiliates P.C. Over time he has taken on a range of matters that require litigation skills and courtroom preparation. He runs his office and oversees case strategy while handling many aspects of client representation.
Feinstein’s professional memberships reflect an active involvement in the trial bar. He is a sustaining member of the American Association for Justice and belongs to the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers. He also holds memberships in the Massachusetts Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Locally, he has been involved in the Peabody Bar Association and served a term as its president. Those roles have kept him connected to developments in courtroom practice and to the local legal community.
Colleagues and peers have described him as someone who prefers practical work over publicity. He spends time preparing witnesses, drafting pleadings and motions, and managing discovery. His day-to-day work combines client meetings, court appearances and detailed file management. He has focused his practice on contested matters that move toward trial rather than on transactional work.
In the office Feinstein balances supervision of other attorneys and staff with direct client contact. He has built a small practice model in which senior counsel remains closely involved in each case. That approach informs how the firm responds to new matters and how it plans for trial calendars.
Outside of case work he remains active in professional circles, attending meetings of bar groups and contributing to the regional legal community. He continues to maintain memberships that keep him current on procedural changes and trial techniques. He is currently principal of The Law Offices of Barry Feinstein & Affiliates P.C., where his practice concentrates on litigation and trial work in Massachusetts courts.
