About Barrett S.

Barrett S. Moore built his path to the law from classrooms in Arkansas. He earned a B.A. in English and Politics from Hendrix College in 2006. Three years later he completed his J.D. at the William H. Bowen School of Law, graduating in 2009.

After law school, Moore entered legal practice and established ties to the Arkansas legal community. He is admitted to practice in Arkansas and is also admitted to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He has been an active member of the Arkansas Bar Association since 2009 and holds membership in the American Bar Association from the same year. Those memberships have been continuous since they began.

Moore's professional record centers on courtroom work and appellate filings. He handles filings and oral advocacy in state courts and prepares briefs and records for appellate review. The work requires careful attention to procedure and persuasive legal writing. Colleagues describe him as methodical in research and precise in drafting; those traits suit the demands of appellate practice.

He practices at Blair & Stroud, where he contributes to the firm's litigation and appellate efforts. At the firm he undertakes client representation that includes preparing pleadings, managing discovery, and advocating in hearings. The day-to-day work combines trial-court advocacy with the detailed record-building necessary for appeals. That dual emphasis shapes how he advises clients and how he approaches case strategy.

Outside the courtroom, Moore keeps pace with developments in case law and procedural rules. His ongoing memberships in both state and national bar organizations reflect that habit. He participates in continuing legal education and follows appellate decisions that affect Arkansas practice. Those activities inform his courtroom work and his written advocacy.

His career shows steady involvement in Arkansas legal institutions and in appellate practice before the Eighth Circuit. He maintains an active role at Blair & Stroud and continues to represent clients in matters brought in Arkansas courts and on appeal. His current practice centers on representing clients in Arkansas state courts and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
