About Baccuhus H

Baccuhus H Carver earned his undergraduate degree in business from Campbell University, completing a B.B.A. in 1991 after beginning studies in 1987 and concentrating in trust and wealth management. He went on to law school at Campbell Law School and received his J.D. in 1997. Those years of study blended technical training in business and finance with the doctrinal work of a traditional legal education.

Carver’s early career did not follow a straight line into private practice. He worked as a senior traveling interviewer for Westat in 2000, a role that took him into the field and into practical research and data collection. A few years later he served as a project coordinator for Southeastern Reprographics in 2004. That mix of fieldwork and project management preceded his entry into a legal support role. In 2007 he joined Smith, Debnam, Narron, Drake, Saintsing & Myers LLP as a legal assistant in creditors’ rights. The position gave him hands-on exposure to creditor-side litigation and enforcement matters.

After that period in a law firm environment, Carver moved into consulting work. He took on assignments for Looks Great Services in 2012 and for TF Rankin & Associates in 2013. Those consultant roles involved operational and organizational tasks rather than courtroom advocacy, and they widened his experience in managing client needs and firm processes.

Also in 2013, Carver opened his own practice, establishing Carver Law Office, PLLC. Making the shift from staff and consultant roles to firm owner changed his day-to-day responsibilities. He now manages client intake, case strategy, and the administrative demands of running a small firm. His office operates out of Spring Lake, where he maintains a local presence for clients in the region.

Carver’s background combines formal training in trust and wealth management with practical experience on the creditors’ rights side of finance-related litigation. He has worked inside a larger firm as a support attorney and later built a solo practice. That mix of institutional and solo practice experience informs how he approaches client matters and firm administration.

He is licensed to practice in North Carolina. He maintains his practice at Carver Law Office, PLLC in Spring Lake and handles matters related to creditors’ rights and trust and estate concerns in the local community.
