About Azhar

Azhar Mamdani earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law in 2015. He finished at a time when many new attorneys were weighing clerkships, private practice and public service. He chose to begin his professional life in Texas courts.

After law school Mamdani moved into practice in Texas and joined Mamdani Law PLLC. He built his practice around representing clients in state matters and providing counsel on disputes and transactions that arise under Texas law. He has worked across a range of assignments that require written advocacy, courtroom presence and direct client contact.

His work blends courtroom advocacy and client advising. He prepares pleadings and motions, argues in hearings, and manages negotiations when settlement is the practical path. He has handled matters that require both litigation strategy and practical problem-solving, often working to streamline complex issues into clear legal options for clients.

Colleagues say his approach is matter-of-fact. He breaks problems down into achievable steps. He listens to what clients say and then explains the legal consequences in plain terms. That combination is central to how he runs matters at the firm and to the way he manages expectations through the life of a case.

Mamdani also spends time on the procedural side of practice. He focuses on document preparation, briefing, and preserving record issues for appeal when necessary. He believes careful preparation can be the difference between winning an issue on the merits and having it lost on a technicality.

Outside specific casework, he maintains ties to professional circles in Texas and keeps up with changes in state rules and practice. He attends continuing legal education and monitors court decisions that affect the clients he represents. He adapts his methods as rules and precedents evolve.

He practices at Mamdani Law PLLC. From that platform he represents and advises clients in matters across Texas. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and continues to work from the firm on state matters across the jurisdiction.
