About Audrey Bryant

Audrey Bryant Braccio began her legal journey in the Ivy League and finished it at one of the nation’s longer-standing law schools. She earned a B.A. from Cornell University and went on to receive her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Those academic stops established a foundation in research and writing that continues to shape her approach in practice.

After law school she became licensed to practice in Maine and before the Penobscot Nation courts. She holds certification as a guardian ad litem for the Maine District Court, a role that places her in the middle of sensitive family and child welfare matters. The certification requires courtroom familiarity and an ability to evaluate factual and legal issues affecting children’s interests.

Her career has balanced courtroom work, client advising and bar leadership. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Penobscot County Bar Association, a role she has held since 2012. She also brings an active presence to the John W. Ballou Inn of Court, where she has served as Membership Chair since 2010. Those positions have given her steady contact with other lawyers and judges and have kept her involved in professional education and local bar governance.

Braccio is a partner at Pelletier Faircloth & Braccio LLC. In that office she works on matters that arise in both the state and tribal courts where she is admitted. Colleagues and local practitioners often see her in hearings and in meetings that require navigating procedural rules across forums. Her courtroom experience, coupled with her guardian ad litem credential, means she is regularly called on in cases where custody and parental fitness are at issue.

In addition to litigation work, she participates in the local legal community through the Inn of Court and the Penobscot County Bar, helping to mentor newer lawyers and to administer programming for members. The combination of practice and bar service has made her a familiar figure in the region’s legal circles. She remains based in Maine and in practice at Pelletier Faircloth & Braccio LLC, handling matters in Maine and before the Penobscot Nation and serving as a guardian ad litem in the Maine District Court.
