About Aubrey J
Aubrey J Crist earned a Bachelor of Science from Ball State University in 2013 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2016. She completed her legal education during a period of steady change in practice areas and entered the bar soon after law school.
Crist began her early practice in 2017 at Allen Wellman McNew Harvey, LLP. She moved to Boston Bever Forest Cross & Sickmann (formerly BBKCC Lawyers) in 2019 and worked there as an associate. In 2020 she joined Beasley & Gilkison, LLP as an associate. Those positions gave her steady courtroom exposure and experience in civil matters across several fields.
Her professional affiliations reflect a range of interests. She holds membership in the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and the Indiana Municipal Lawyers Association. She is also part of the East Central Indiana Estate Planning Council. Since 2022 she has served as Secretary for the Muncie Bar Association, a role that involves organizing meetings and representing the association in local events.
Crist is admitted to practice in Indiana and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Her memberships and casework have led her to work on Social Security claimant matters, municipal law questions, trial litigation and estate planning issues. She has represented individuals in hearings and advised municipalities on regulatory and administrative concerns.
Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing files and direct when presenting arguments. She balances courtroom work with administrative duties at her firm. That combination has shaped a practice that moves between hearings, client counseling and drafting pleadings.
Outside of litigation, Crist spends time keeping up with continuing legal education and the procedural developments that affect administrative hearings and municipal ordinances. She has taken part in local bar activities and professional committees that address access to benefits and civil practice standards.
She currently serves as an associate at Beasley & Gilkison, LLP. Her practice includes Social Security claims, civil litigation, municipal matters and estate planning.
