About Ashley

Ashley Trinh earned her law degree from Emory University in 2016. She completed her J.D. the same year and began practicing in Georgia soon after. Her legal training at Emory provided a foundation in litigation, legal research and courtroom procedure.

Trinh launched her career in public service. In 2016 she joined the DeKalb County Solicitor General’s Office as an Assistant Solicitor General. There she handled the day-to-day responsibilities common to county solicitor offices and gained early courtroom exposure during arraignments and hearings.

She continued in that line of work at the Gwinnett County Solicitor General’s Office in 2019, again serving as an Assistant Solicitor General. Across both appointments she worked inside two of Georgia’s busier county-level prosecutorial offices and became familiar with the pace and demands of municipal and county dockets.

After several years in public prosecution, Trinh moved into private practice. She established Trinh Law Office and took on a range of matters that draw on her experience at the county level. Her practice reflects the practical skills she developed in court: client counseling, case management and preparing matters for hearing.

Colleagues and former supervisors point to steady courtroom competence and an ability to explain legal options clearly to clients. Trinh combines courtroom experience with academic training from Emory, and she applies that mix to each case she handles. She is licensed to practice in Georgia and continues to appear in state courts.

Trinh’s work pattern shows an attorney who has balanced public service and private practice. That background gives her an operational view of how local courts and prosecutor offices operate. It also informs how she prepares matters for resolution, whether through negotiated disposition or contested hearing.

She maintains professional ties in the legal community and draws on those relationships in both litigation and transactional settings. Her time in county solicitor general offices remains a reference point for how she advises clients and sets expectations about timing and process.

Her current practice is based at Trinh Law Office, where she represents clients in matters arising in Georgia courts.
