About Ashley Talbot
Ashley Talbot Dean trained in two regions of California before beginning her legal career. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego in 2008, studying business administration, supply chain management, philosophy and Spanish. She went on to law school at the University of San Francisco, completing her J.D. in 2012.
After law school, Dean moved into an in-house role at a sports-technology company. In 2012 she served as in-house counsel at Sqor Sports, advising on matters that intersected technology, media and business operations. That early role gave her a view of legal work inside a growing company and experience drafting agreements and working across departments.
Dean is licensed to practice in California and has maintained an active practice in the state since her bar admission. Her background in business-related subjects during undergraduate studies informs how she approaches client problems. She combines that background with courtroom and transactional law skills learned during and after law school.
She practices under the name Talbot Law Office. Her practice handles matters for clients in California. Colleagues describe her as methodical in her preparation and attentive to the practical consequences of legal choices. She has worked with private clients and business entities and has experience managing both contract negotiations and compliance-related issues.
Outside of casework, Dean has kept ties to professional circles in the state. She attends continuing legal education programs and participates in professional events that address developments in California law. That ongoing engagement helps her stay current on regulatory and procedural changes that affect clients.
Her work combines an understanding of business systems, especially supply chain and operational concerns, with the tools of litigation and transactional practice. She places emphasis on clear drafting and on aligning legal steps with clients’ commercial goals. In her current role at Talbot Law Office she represents individuals and businesses across California and focuses her practice on state matters affecting clients in the region.
