About Ashley

Ashley Raymond earned a law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2007 and returned to the classroom the next year for an LL.M. from the University of Washington School of Law. Those years shaped her approach to practice. They provided both classroom rigor and exposure to Washington state law that would set the stage for her career.

After finishing her studies she entered practice in Washington. She is licensed to practice in that state and has maintained ties to the local legal community through multiple professional groups. Her membership history includes the Korean American Bar Association of Washington since 2013, the King County Bar Association Family Law Section and the Domestic Relations Lawyers of Washington since 2016, and the Mother Lawyers Mentoring Association of Seattle since 2010. The memberships reflect sustained engagement with family law peers and bar activities.

Raymond’s work has centered on domestic relations and family law matters. She has focused on cases that involve divorce, child custody and support, and related family court issues. Her day-to-day work requires courtroom experience, negotiation with opposing counsel and frequent interaction with clients facing difficult personal transitions. She approaches those tasks with a steady, matter-of-fact style.

Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing cases and attentive to procedural detail. She blends litigation preparation with efforts to reach negotiated resolutions when that serves a client’s interest. That balance shows in the way she manages discovery, prepares for hearings and drafts court filings. It also appears in how she mentors newer lawyers through bar association activities and community groups.

Outside casework she has been active in local legal organizations for more than a decade. Her long-running membership in a mentoring association suggests an interest in supporting other lawyers who are balancing practice with parenthood. Her involvement with both county and statewide family law groups keeps her current on local practice trends and court rules.

Raymond practices at McKinley Irvin, where she handles family law and domestic relations matters. She is based in Washington and maintains an active role in the state’s family law bar. She currently focuses her practice on family law, including divorce, custody, support and related domestic relations issues.
