About Ashley Chavez

Ashley Chavez Sedaghat earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton. She went on to complete her Juris Doctor at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 2007. Those years of study anchored her understanding of the California criminal justice system and legal procedure, and provided the credential that launched her legal career.

After law school Sedaghat began practicing law in California. She has spent the past decade and a half working within the state's legal community. Over that time she has handled client matters, navigated state court procedures and developed practical experience in legal advocacy. Her path through the profession has kept her tied to California courts and clients.

Sedaghat maintains current membership in professional legal associations. She participates in the networks that connect lawyers across the state and keeps engaged in the professional circles that inform practice in California. That ongoing involvement has given her access to continuing conversations about legal developments and practice norms.

Colleagues describe Sedaghat as methodical and precise in her work. She takes care with case preparation and places emphasis on factual clarity. Those traits shape how she approaches client files, whether they involve courtroom appearances or negotiated resolutions. She favors clear explanations for clients and tries to make legal options understandable at each stage.

Outside of courtroom work, Sedaghat's background in criminal justice informs how she assesses case strategy. Her education and subsequent legal experience provide a framework for evaluating evidence, procedural issues and potential remedies. She has applied that framework consistently while practicing across California.

As of 2026 she continues to practice in California, representing clients and advising on legal matters within the state. Her current practice focuses on serving clients in California.
