About Arya
Arya Shamuilian built her path to the law through two California campuses. She earned a B.S. from the University of California, Riverside and went on to receive her J.D. from the University of La Verne College of Law and Public Service. Those degrees set the stage for a career that mixes courtroom practice and classroom work.
After law school, Shamuilian entered private practice and later joined My Rights Law Group as a lawyer. She represents clients in matters brought in California courts and administrative forums. Her work at the firm involves managing client intake, preparing pleadings, and advocating in hearings and negotiations. Colleagues describe her as methodical and direct in how she handles cases.
Parallel to her practice, Shamuilian returned to her alma mater as a Professor of Practice at the University of La Verne College of Law and Public Service. In that role she teaches and mentors students preparing for law careers. She supervises practical training and offers guidance on ethics, procedure and client counseling. Students who have worked with her note the practical orientation she brings to classroom discussions.
Shamuilian maintains ties to the local legal community. She holds membership in the Western San Bernardino County Bar Association and participates in association events. That involvement keeps her connected to developments in regional practice and provides networking and pro bono opportunities. She also maintains an office at the University of La Verne College of Law and Public Service where she meets with students and clients.
Her career reflects a steady blend of litigation and legal education. She splits time between casework at My Rights Law Group and academic responsibilities at the law school. That dual role allows her to test classroom lessons against real-world problems and to bring practical examples into seminar rooms. It also keeps her current with procedural changes and shifting legal standards in California.
Outside formal duties, Shamuilian contributes to student clinics and bar association programs. She has spoken at panels and workshops aimed at new lawyers and law students. Those appearances are part of an effort to prepare younger attorneys for the demands of practice while keeping local practitioners informed on procedural and ethical topics.
She currently practices law at My Rights Law Group and serves as a Professor of Practice at the University of La Verne College of Law and Public Service. Her practice is centered on legal work in California.
