About Arlette
Arlette Argyris graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in History and International Studies in 2007. She stayed on at the University of Oklahoma College of Law and received her J.D. in 2010. During law school she worked as a research assistant in 2008 and contributed as a student author to the University of Oklahoma International Human Rights Clinic in 2010, an early sign of interest in public law and scholarly work.
After law school, Argyris moved into practice roles that combined hands-on client work and advisory responsibilities. In 2010 she served as of counsel at PADS, LLC and took on an associate counsel role at The Law Office of Cindy Allen, PLLC. Those early positions exposed her to the administrative and litigation-side demands of a small-firm environment and to client counseling in varied matters.
By 2012 she joined Mello & Pickering, LLP as a lawyer. There she worked in a private practice setting that required adaptability and steady case management. The experience at Mello & Pickering helped her develop the day-to-day skills required to run files from intake through resolution.
In 2015 Argyris became a partner and owner at Argyris Mah, LLP. As an owner-partner she has balanced client-facing responsibilities with the operational tasks that come with running a firm. Her role at Argyris Mah has included supervising other lawyers and coordinating case strategy while managing business aspects of the practice.
Argyris is admitted to practice in both California and Oklahoma. She is a current member of the California Bar Association, the Santa Clara County Bar Association, and the Oklahoma Bar Association. Those memberships reflect an ongoing engagement with the professional communities in the two states where she practices.
Colleagues describe her as thorough and pragmatic. She tends to approach matters methodically, breaking complex issues into concrete steps. That practical orientation shows in how she prepares clients for hearings and negotiations, and in the way she organizes casework for trial readiness.
Outside of case files, Argyris’s background in international studies and her student work at the human rights clinic provide a broader context for her legal perspective. She draws on that foundation when evaluating policy implications and client objectives.
Her current practice concentrates on representing clients in matters across California and Oklahoma.
