About Arkady
Arkady Bukh trained in New York-area schools before building a practice rooted in criminal courts. He completed undergraduate studies at City University of New York–Queens College, earning a B.A. in marketing in 1998. He pursued legal studies at New York Law School and undertook a law course at Harvard University in 2000. He earned his J.D. degree in the early 2000s.
He moved into practice soon after finishing law school. By 2003 he was active in multiple federal bar chapters. He became a partner at Bukh Law Office, P.C. in 2004. That step formalized an office presence that has continued for more than two decades. His long tenure at the same firm has meant steady work in New York’s trial courts and federal dockets.
Memberships trace a clear professional interest. He holds memberships in criminal defense and court-focused organizations, including the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (2011–present) and the Brooklyn Criminal Bar Association (2010–present). He is also a member of the New York Criminal and Civil Courts Bar Association since 2009. On the federal side, he maintains membership in several Federal Bar Association chapters, including the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the Wisconsin chapter. He joined the American Bar Association in 2004 and has been part of the Russian American Bar Association since 2010.
Those affiliations reflect work across both state and federal courts. Colleagues and court records show a pattern of handling criminal matters in New York and appearances in federal court. His association list suggests regular interaction with trial practice, federal procedure, and criminal-defense advocacy in local bar settings.
Clients and other lawyers describe a practitioner familiar with courtroom dynamics and the procedural demands of criminal litigation. The office in which he is a partner has been the base for arraignments, pretrial practice, hearings and trials. He has represented individuals in matters that required coordination between state and federal systems, and his memberships support that experience.
He continues to practice from Bukh Law Office, P.C., where he focuses his practice on criminal defense work in New York.
