About Arja
Arja Shah earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law in 2007 after completing her legal studies earlier in the decade. She moved to Arizona soon after and has been part of the state's legal community for well over a decade. Her education provided the groundwork for a private practice that she would later build from the ground up.
She joined the Arizona Bar Association in 2008 and spent the next few years gaining practical experience before launching her own firm. In 2013 she established Shah Law Office, PLLC and took on the role of founding partner. The decision to open a firm reflected a desire to shape a practice environment where she could handle both the legal work and the operational decisions that come with running a small law office.
At Shah Law Office, Shah divides her time between managing the firm's daily operations and representing clients. Her role includes supervising staff, developing case strategies, and meeting with clients to address their legal needs. Running a boutique firm has required a combination of case management and administrative attention, and she has structured the office to respond to matters in Arizona courts and administrative venues.
Shah remains engaged with the statewide legal community. She has maintained her membership in the Arizona Bar Association since 2008. That connection keeps her informed about developments in state law and provides access to professional resources and continuing legal education. She has used those resources to stay current on procedural and substantive changes that affect litigation and transactional practice in Arizona.
