About Ariel E.

Ariel E. Furst began her academic path at Tulane University, where she completed two degrees in 1983: a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in English. She graduated with honors and produced and defended two honors theses, one in each discipline. The combination of science and humanities gave her a broad analytical base and a facility for both technical and written work. Those skills informed her decision to attend law school a few years later.

She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law in 1992, graduating cum laude. While at Miami, she was awarded a Gold Scholarship. She appeared on the Dean’s List and participated in the American Inn of Court. The law school years refined her courtroom instincts and sharpened her research and writing abilities.

After law school she entered private practice. Her career has included work at law firms where she handled a variety of matters for clients. Among the offices where she has practiced is Stabinski & Funt, P.A. Over the years she has taken part in litigation preparation, document drafting, and client counseling. She has also worked on transactional files and negotiated settlements when matters called for it. Her experience spans courtroom work and behind-the-scenes preparation, tasks that require different kinds of attention to detail.

Colleagues describe her as methodical and precise in her handling of legal work. She tends to break complex problems into manageable parts, then address each in turn. That approach has been applied equally to factual investigation and to the drafting of pleadings and agreements. Clients have relied on her to explain legal options plainly and to outline likely next steps.

Today she is based at Stabinski & Funt, P.A., where she continues to practice law. Her current work involves handling a range of matters for the firm’s clients, balancing courtroom advocacy with advisory and transactional responsibilities.
