About Anthony R.
Anthony R. Riccio built his legal foundation at Syracuse University College of Law, where he earned his J.D. in 2011 after completing a B.A. at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2007. He moved into the professional world quickly, combining legal training with business experience in his first post-law school role.
In 2011 Riccio worked as a business development specialist at Beecher Carlson. The position exposed him to the commercial side of professional services and provided a contrast to the courtroom work he would pursue soon after. A year later he joined the Bristol County District Attorney's Office as an assistant district lawyer. That role put him on the front lines of criminal prosecution and day-to-day litigation practice.
After public service he entered private practice. In 2014 he worked at Boyle, Shaughnessy & Campo, where he handled matters typical of a small firm environment — litigation, client counseling, and motions practice. The following year he launched his own firm, Riccio Law, LLC, and has operated it since 2015. Riccio is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and is admitted to appear before the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Those credentials reflect a career that has moved between state and federal matters. His background includes prosecutorial experience and years of private practice, giving him familiarity with courtroom procedure and pretrial motion work.
