About Anthony
Anthony Doss earned his law degree from the University of Massachusetts School of Law, completing his J.D. in 2018 after active involvement in clinical work as a student lawyer. During law school he worked in the Community Development Clinic, gaining hands-on experience on projects that touched on neighborhood issues and client counseling. That clinical work was one of several early placements that shaped a practical approach to legal work.
Doss began his pre-licensure work in 2016 as a law clerk at the Law Office of Brian R. Lewis. He followed that with a pair of 2017 roles: a legal internship at Vachon Legal Associates and continued clinical practice at his law school clinic. Those positions exposed him to both small-firm practice and public-interest style representation. He took his degree and entered practice soon after, forming Hearth Law, P.C. in 2018.
In 2019 he worked as a lawyer at Burnham Law. That role placed him in a different firm environment and added to his courtroom and client-facing experience. By 2021 he had established Copper Creek Law Office, where he serves as owner and lawyer. His path through clerkships, internships, and early firm work shows a pattern of alternating between building hands-on skills and testing the responsibilities of practice ownership.
Doss is admitted to practice in Arizona and holds membership in the State Bar of Arizona. His bar membership is current. He moved from regional training and Massachusetts-based study into Arizona practice, balancing solo practice responsibilities with the procedural and administrative demands that come with running a small firm.
His background includes community-focused clinic work and roles in small law offices. That mix has meant work on transactional and client-advice matters as well as individual representation. Clinic experience made client intake and counseling routine parts of his early practice, while his time as owner required supervising case strategy and business operations.
Colleagues describe him as steady at the office and attentive with clients. He has maintained a practice that reflects both the hands-on client work learned in clinics and the administrative duties learned as a firm owner. In private practice he handles a range of matters for clients in Arizona and manages the day-to-day operations of Copper Creek Law Office, where he continues his legal work.
