About Anne B.

Anne B. Bennette earned her undergraduate degree from Northeastern University in 2007 and completed her J.D. at Suffolk University Law School in 2010. She entered the profession at a time when multi-state practice was becoming more common. Early training and classroom work gave her the foundation to work across different legal systems.

She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Washington. That set of admissions has shaped how she approaches client matters. Over time she has cultivated the ability to manage filings and court appearances in more than one jurisdiction. She handles the practical tasks that come with multi-state practice, from local court procedures to the formalities of admission in each state.

Bennette maintains memberships in local bar groups in Washington state, including the Snohomish County Bar Association and the King County Bar Association. Those memberships keep her connected to the calendars and informal practices of county courts. They also provide regular contact with colleagues in the region and with the bench, which helps when cases or transactions touch local rules.

Her work often involves issues that do not respect state lines. She represents individuals and organizations whose matters require coordination across Massachusetts, Connecticut and Washington. That frequently calls for careful attention to differing procedural rules, timing for filings, and the logistical demands of appearing in distant courts. She is practical about those challenges and plans accordingly.

Colleagues describe her approach as methodical. She favors clear calendars, early identification of jurisdictional questions and straightforward communication with clients about options and trade-offs. She combines that approach with the administrative skills needed to keep multiple dockets in order and to meet deadlines in separate states.

Bennette keeps her practice active in the jurisdictions where she is admitted, and she continues to participate in the local bar organizations that reflect her Washington presence. Her current practice focuses on matters that cross state lines and require work in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Washington.
